Rob Scott

You know how some people feel completely overwhelmed and horribly stressed out… But instead of finding ways to deal with it, they end up just putting things off and habitually find themselves stuck in a cycle of procrastination? A cycle that leaves them ineffective and frustrated…

My products help people simplify their lives, stop procrastinating, and get focused on what’s important to them. Ultimately, my products allow people to lead centered, purposeful and productive lives.

As a coach it’s my job to help you do three things:

  • Clarify Your Direction – Often we’re lost in the choices. I help people align their lives and find what’s most important to them. By deciding what’s most important and clearly defining your desired outcome, you can begin to move forward.
  • Distinguish the Key Mindsets and Behaviors for Reaching Your Goal – Once you know what you want, the next step is to take action on it. We identify the internal and external changes that need to happen within ourselves. Learning is only the start: my programs are designed so that you carry the learning into your beliefs and behaviors, allowing you to really implement change.
  • Habituate those changes – The key to changing behavior is making the changes stick in the long term. (Ever start a workout program and only keep at it for only a few days? Or how about a new diet!?!) We emphasize exactly what it will take for you to make the changes part of your life for ongoing, long-term results.

There is actually a FORMULA to creating lasting habits. If you’d like to know the secret to creating new behaviors and make them last permanently then grab my free mini-ebook called “The Habit Cure.” Just put your name and email into the form on the left of my other blog and I’ll email it to you right away.

So how long does “significant change” take? Well some people have huge realizations and “re-frames” that lead to astounding results in less than 15 minutes:

“Rob right away in the very first session found out that the real problem I have been facing was the codependent relationship with my Mother. When I realized that I was dependent on the approval from my Mother, my relationship with the whole world dramatically shifted. Now I don’t try to satify other’s needs, I don’t overspeculate what others are thinking about me and I think I first had a taste of a real freedom in my whole life.” -M.O., Japan
“I can personally attest that you will walk away with at least one “golden nugget” of wisdom that WILL make a difference for you. I certainly have! Even in the first 15 minutes in listening to Rob, his sincerity, knowledge, and ability to offer true meaningful advice became absolutely evident. I marvel at how far reaching his philosophies are and yet broken down into small digestible pieces that feed the mind and the soul. Thank you so much Rob for your time, your sincerity, your caring and true desire to help people such as me dig out of a seemingly hopeless situation, one shovel at a time – and be ok with it! You truly are a godsend!” -TJ Tomlinson, Lawrenceville, GA

Other people choose to have a longer relationship with me and my coaching because life continues to unfold, and whether I help them grow their business or change their entire lives, they see the value in what coaching offers:

“Rob has helped me literally DESTROY the highest leverage mental blocks that I had, which were preventing me from: 1. Making more money. 2. Having more free time. Now, I can enjoy BOTH, thanks to Rob!” -Alex Berezowsky, Canada
“…The next thing he did was sit me down, listen to me rant about everything that was wrong with my business. He then said one sentence that summarized my entire years in business, showed me the one tremendous, elephant in the room misconception I had and the mistake I was making and then gave me a glimpse of what life could look like when corrections were made. We’ve made changes since then and not only is my business becoming more enjoyable and more of what I had dreamed it to be but so is the rest of my life including my marriage! I’d have to say that Rob Scott is about the best investment in business and in life one could make.” -Zach Weiser, Philadelphia, PA
“I had some general ideas of what to expect from a coach, but Rob has exceeded all of those expectations in every way. At times I have felt almost embarrassed that someone younger could be so much wiser in so many ways and because he often seems to know instinctively what I should do next to achieve my goals. Not only that, he has helped me clarify my goals, and, like a good coach, he doesn’t let me make excuses for not taking action. I’m amazed at the steps I’ve taken over the past several months and the confidence I have gained, with Rob’s help, to keep charging ahead. As a bonus, he himself is clearly leading an authentic life. He leads by example.” -Wendel Potter, Philadelphia PA

Whether you want coaching for a single session or for a lifetime, I’m here to support you.

Why I do what I do is because long ago I was seriously dysfunctional myself. One of my greatest joys has been the path of learning how to manage myself – physically, emotionally, mentally – and then learning how to help others manage themselves.

You might be asking who I am, so I’ll share some of my professional background. It’s primarily in two areas: Managing Systems, and Managing People.

On the systems side, I used to write very complex software. The art of writing great software, in my opinion, is finding elegant ways to represent complex environments and systematize them down into their essence. Programmers often pride themselves on that elegance and the ability to design those systems as efficiently as possible. Elegant system design is something I’m very interested in.

Through technology we model the world, and find efficiencies and solutions to common problems. This practice has given me many great mindsets and abilities to navigate the complexities of the world, and understand business and general problem solving by looking for the patterns.

What I found is that people have patterns too…

As I excelled at managing large software projects, my corporate experience became more about managing people. As I had learned to manage myself and manage my own thoughts, behaviors and understandings I found that I could apply what I knew to others. I became very good at managing others as individuals and as teams. I was especially good at motivating them, and creating clear outcomes with actionable steps that lead to amazing results in the real world. In essence I was becoming a leader (and a coach).

Blending these two ideas of managing systems and managing people is one thing that sets my coaching apart.

The people I’ve worked with have ranged from small business owners through top level executives running muti-million dollar companies. I coach people working directly on the largest governmental issues in Washington, and I work with teens who have lost their way into drugs, alcohol and other poor choices. I have clients in Asia, Australia, Europe, and all over the United States. Episodes of my podcast have been downloaded over 100,000 times. Through my direct coaching and free offerings I’ve helped thousands of people change their lives.

Again, the way I do this is simple – by helping the people identify what needs to change and then helping them become fundamentally different in their inner idea of themselves and the world, and then in their outward choices and actions.

I still offer individual sessions which you can check out here (link). But I also have created products that can be even more valuable because they are specific and distilled down to the core teachings. (They are also much more affordable than me live – and I always offer full money back guarantee so feel free to give them a try – I know you’ll see the value once you do).

As an example, if you want to learn about how to motivate yourself and others check out my Instant Motivation program. If you are struggling with procrastination and the deeper blocks of inactivity check out my Procrastination Transformation program. If you want to know more about how you can use the new findings of neuroplasticity to permanently change your behavior you should look at my Neuroplastic Change Model coaching program. And if you want to learn about my coaching model and how to apply it to yourself, you should immediately get my ebook Calm Cool Productive. I even have a great video on how to speed read.

But you may want to just start with what I offer for free. I have a rich set of tools and techniques that are completely free. What if you decided to make a conscious effort to change your life, live more fully, or turn just a little bit into the things you’re avoiding? How would your life be different in a month? In a year? In 10 years?

My personal journey, like all of our journeys has been full of challenges. Long ago I decided I was going to make it a practice to face my issues, no matter what. Without boring you to death with the details, some of what I’ve overcome has included dealing with serious addiction, abuse at an early age, and surviving cancer. I used to be 70 pounds heavier than I am today and have kept the weight off for more than 5 years.

Some of these challenges left me without tools to immediately deal with life in a healthy way. But these challenges have also shown me that we are capable of change when we decide to be – even when it doesn’t look or feel like it. If you want to find your center, and if you want to lead a productive life I can help you on your path.

Be Well,
Rob
